Biology major Harrison Jordan won 3rd Place Poster in the Biological & Life Sciences section of UAB's Undergraduate Research Spring Expo. His poster discussed the effects of SAHA & EGCG on apoptosis in triple-negative breast cancer cells through expression of cIAP2 & caspase 7.

PhD students suffer from anxiety and depression at rates that far exceed the general population. How about rather than looking for ways students can treat themselves, we look at the structural reasons why academia is destroying the mental health of so many PhD students?
