God is our rescuer. He is the One who will sustain us. And He is more than able to bring His plans to pass.
“Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.” Isaiah 46:4
Thank you Senator Lavon Bracy Davis for your #VisitAPrison at Polk CI. We believe by seeing issues first hand @FL_Corrections you can better understand conditions and improve our justice system. You don’t know if you don’t go! @FAMMFoundation
"I don’t know if the mail rule has stymied the flow of drugs into the prison... But as we get closer to the holidays, I do know I will miss my mom’s loopy cursive handwriting on a Christmas card."
When prisons ban physical mail, families suffer.

Yes! State Attorneys want bigger salaries, then let them stop the aggressive prosecution of individuals like vets that need PTSD help, those with substance abuse. Use the sentencing reports and make appropriate sentences that are not the longest but the best for rehabilitation.
“But inmates recommended for eye surgeries have been forced to wait years for procedures, state records show. Some procedures were delayed for so long that inmates ended up permanently blind.” @FLSenate@myflhouse https://t.co/12JARKzfWi
@FLVoiceNews Why are we paying over a $1,000,000 to incarcerate a unarmed shoplifter of $97 of DVDs? We need a release valve & a reasonableness test to sentences over 20 yrs. My husband sits next to murders who got 25 years. Are you scared of an ill 62 year who served 22 yrs for shoplifting?
Are you scared of a sick 62-year-old who has served 22 years for shoplifting and can’t even open his hands due to illness? Look at the difference in 5 years. Part of the Sentence? In the swollen hand he weighs about 30 lbs less. Note the puffiness.
Justice? Absolutely not.
That money could've funded dozens of raises.
Worse: This same man once risked his life to save Pinellas Park Police Detective Haisch.
This isn't justice—it's a broken system wasting our dollars. @Fla_Pol@GovRonDeSantis@BryanDGriffin@Bryanwidenhouse #DOGE
Supporting raises for our State Attorneys & Public Defenders means demanding accountability for efficient use of taxpayer dollars. Both offices fall under the Criminal Justice budget, just like @FL_Corrections.
We can't waste millions on flawed prosecutions.

@MitchPerry18@FLPhoenixNews “The system includes officers as young as 19 with fewer than two weeks’ experience supervising more than 150 inmates in some correction facilities. That’s compared to ratios of one officer to 35 or one officer to 50 inmates in other states, he added.”

"If I continue to do this job, we’re going to have to have the support we need, because we cannot keep going in the direction we’re going in," Sec. Dixon said.
Appropriations or Criminal Justice committee members: Watch the meeting at the 56 min mark👇@FLSenate@myflhouse
I received two tray pictures last night of meals from @FL_Corrections. What a difference! The second one was appealing and had fresh fruit. Same menu but different. Quantity seems much better. Why can’t @Aramark provide consistent good meals to everyone?
At less than $1.5 million, $16.41 each, every incarcerated person @FL_Corrections could receive a high quality Costco Kirkland Vitamins everyday for a year. That’s retail cost. How would this reduce medical costs?
Today on #WrongfulConvictionDay, we remember that innocence is not enough to stop an ex*cution in America.💔
This month alone, three men with strong innocence claims — Lance Shockley (MO), Robert Roberson (TX), and Anthony Boyd (AL) — face the ☠️ chamber.

@Securus_JPay The apps on the tablets at Graceville Correctional Facility have not worked in almost a month. You’re saying it’s working on your side. That doesn’t rectify the situation. Please do better and fix the problem. There is money being wasted. Fix this ASAP PLEASE.
