@rickygervais@jk_rowling As far as I’m concerned, politics is a stupid way to relate to people. People are too messy to be reduced to a political issue. It’s like saying ‘The Poor’ as if they’re all poor for the same reason. (Thread) #NoPoliticTrans
As much as @elonmusk hates being harassed on twitter I'm amazed he'd remove protections against that for anyone. With the reinstatement of Trump, it's clear he wants Twitter to go back to shouting matches on the playground instead of encouraging discourse, so I'm making #twexit
@ThatKevinSmith tanks for an awesome night, I’ve never been wrecked so hard by a movie! Also, Jay might try this to fall asleep, cheaper than a new box fan every stop. https://t.co/phJw7UZu5M
@impulseSV Don’t let it bother you, file this under “you can’t please everyone.” It was likely posted by the kind of person who likes to align their Chex cereal in a grid before they eat it and would have a fit if you served them Honeycombs. Realize they’re an extreme edge case and move on.
Have you ever been so tired and sore that all you want is to go to bed, but you have to stay up for one last thing, you do that thing and go to bed just to lie awake because you’re so tired and sore?
I feel like I got caught in the wrong lane and missed the slumber off-ramp.
@thecoopertom I’ve got a friend in the UK who supports his family of four on the income from his YouTube channel. Hit me up if you’d like some advice on how to make it a full time gig.
@thecoopertom I do so miss potatoes! Wish there were a sweet potato tot I could eat. Closest I’ve managed is a sort of sweet potato hash brown that cooks nicely in an air fryer.
Hope you enjoyed your fried starchy treat!
@thecoopertom Here I was getting worried you blocked me or something :p
Also, that spaghetti did look like one of those wax sculptures they use for photography for the can label :)
@thecoopertom I’m a writer, my husband is an illustrator. He illustrated a couple of my stories, and we grew from that. 14 years later I’m still working on strengthening our bonds through collaboration. We’re putting together our own little recipe book trying to work around my allergies :)
@thecoopertom Then, because people are always changing and growing, you try to get used to growing toward each other. Start with collaboration on a hobby project. If you work well together do a few more projects together, and grow the relationship from there.
