Governor Greg Abbott just declared a public health disaster due to COVID-19—the first of its kind in Texas since 1901.
All schools will be closed through April 3. The state will review reopening at that time depending on the state of the disease. More details will be forthcoming.

Haltom tops Fort Worth Trimble Tech 49-40 in a Class 6A Region I girls basketball bidistrict playoff game. Haltom will play El Paso Pebble Hills at 4 p.m. Friday at Andrews High School.
