@army1325air Thanks for posting this! Helps to restore my own fiery spirit. I took a stand (literally) for veterans at my VA clinic yesterday, about the lack of providers there. After heart surgery the day before. Too soon to take a stand, down I went. I felt like the wimpiest marine ever.
American by birth. Patriot by choice. Unbreakable by nature.
Raised on freedom. Built on courage. Forged through sacrifice.
I stand for the flag, honor the fallen, and defend the freedom they sacrificed everything to protect.
Proudly American. Unapologetically patriotic. Until my last breath.
A very good boy may have just earned his place in the church choir.
During Mass at The Grotto’s annual Blessing of the Animals on Sept. 20, one husky couldn’t resist joining in when the music began. In a now-viral video filmed by attendee Blanca Gallardo, the pup lets out a series of enthusiastic howls as a priest sings — prompting the priest to walk over and hold a microphone near the furry vocalist.
The moment has become an internet hit, with the Instagram Reel drawing 7.1 million views and 741,000 likes. The husky’s owner and identity were not initially known, though Gallardo said she attended the blessing with her own dog, Phoebe.
The clip’s comments quickly turned the impromptu duet into a heavenly punchline. One viewer, @kindsi, wrote: “The priest sang, ‘all creatures of our God and King, lift up your voice and let us sing’ and the husky said ‘HaleAWOOOOOyah!’”
Honestly, the dog was just following directions.
The Blessing of the Animals took place at 3:30 p.m. in The Grotto Plaza. The annual event welcomes people and pets of all faiths and celebrates the “joy, beauty, love, fidelity, encouragement and comfort” that animal companions bring into people’s lives.
And if this dog had anything to say about it, that comfort apparently comes with a powerful set of lungs.
Today, on the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, it seems only right that one enthusiastic husky reminded everyone at Mass that all creatures are invited to lift up their voices, even if that voice is an awe-inspiring “awoooo.”

Beloved NY soldier killed during Iran War came from military family, had smile that could ‘light up room’
Sgt. Angel Sarah Rampersad was a 28-year-old U.S. Army soldier from Ozone Park, Queens, New York, who was killed in action on July 17, 2026, during an Iranian missile and drone attack. The attack targeted the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan amid the ongoing military conflict between the United States and Iran.
Coming from a military family in Queens, Rampersad was remembered by her loved ones as a protective "gentle giant" who was active in her local church and excelled in track athletics during her youth.
She is noted as the 18th American servicemember killed since the outbreak of the war with Iran.🕊️

@army1325air Coast Guard are basically Federal protection officers, water born PD & Fire/rescue, customs, border patrol, DEA, lifeguards, aquatic DMV, waterway state troopers, licensing bureau and coastal air/water Security guards all rolled into one agency. did i miss any?
@gunman451@army1325air Only other thing I can possibly add is that the Coast Guard also does 'Santa FlyOver events', where he leaves his reindeer at home and descends from a helicopter, to the delight of CG families.😁

@army1325air 😁 Along with all that fun, my dad flew a CG rescue helicopter, and while aboard the cutter, had some down time. So along with his CG crew, to have more fun, unless in Alaska (haha), he would yell for a Swim Call. 'Walk The Plank!' (They would dive in off the cutter). 😁
The Coast Guard does a hell of a lot more than people give them credit for.
Search and rescue. Drug interdiction. Port security. Maritime law enforcement. Disaster response.
And then there are Coast Guard rescue swimmers.
Those motherfuckers are built different.
Freezing water. 30 foot waves. Hurricane winds. Darkness.
Everybody else sees hell.
They jump into it.
Respect the Coast Guard.
But rescue swimmers?
Certified fucking lunatics.
@taylorbilt An absolute law of the road! An honor to pass this along, in loving memory of my trucker family members who have passed on, and a salute to those who still pull the horn for kids and adults alike. ✨🇺🇸😁
For me and a lot of my Marine buddies, the number one concern for this country is not the price of fuel. It is Islamist Marxists taking this country one city at a time. Mostly the major cities. Smaller towns are getting it too.
So everybody bitching and dooming right now needs to understand something. If they take the midterms, you will not be able to bitch and gripe anymore. The people cheering open borders, Hamas flags in the street, and "globalize the intifada" on campus are not going to protect your right to complain about them. They will call it hate, shut the platform, and dare you to say it again.
If you are a doomer telling people to sit home, shut up. You are handing your free speech to the same crowd you claim to oppose. Fuel prices come and go. A city that no longer answers to Americans does not. Get out and vote. Then primary the RINOs who will not fight this.
🚨 THEY WARNED YOU NOT TO DRINK RAINWATER — THEN THIS WOMAN TESTED IT AGAINST HER TAP WATER
They tell you rainwater can be contaminated.
Don’t collect it.
It's not safe to drink.
Then this woman pulled out a meter and compared fresh rainwater with the water coming straight into her home.
The rainwater?
So clean it registers at 1 PPM.
Then she sticks the exact same meter under her tap:
554 PPM.
Watching rainwater barely move the meter while her tap sends the number soaring has people online losing it:
“So the water falling from the sky is the problem... but 554 coming out of the faucet is totally fine? 😂”
“I want to know exactly what the hell is coming through those pipes”
What do you think they're not telling us about the water being pumped into our homes?
