I think my favorite part of mine and @LadySinna discord server is the daily affirmations we started doing in it today. I have seen tweets about getting discouraged, wondering if one should continue to post their link, saying that people only donate to their friends, and I wanted to add my perspective on this, because I really want everyone to feel welcome, appreciated, seen and heard in the community, within what's possible for me to do.

On the one hand, if you've been there for a few months, you know that we went through a lot (including someone faking their own death to gather donations and sexual harassment).

Moreover, some people have continuously been donating since March and just don't have funds anymore to keep going, at least for now (including myself).

Also, over time, people have formed closed bounds and friendships and want to support each other with their goals.

Additionally, the community is so big, I'm constantly finding new people to connect with, and the algorithm being what it is, some tweets and accounts unfortunately have more reach than others. All these factors, including sheer luck, can play a part in the progress one makes with their crowdfunding. I know people who have been constantly supporting others since March who are still funding for their switch (and I can't wait for them to be FF!).

On the other hand, still, I see a lot of efforts to make everyone feel welcome and to give a chance to everyone to make progress, whether it's with bingo boards, checklists, wheels, giveaways, target boots, tags, likes and retweets. A lot of people still show up and continuously try their best within their means.

Besides these funding initiatives, I've seen a lot of beautiful art being shared around, some community events taking place, birthday cards and birthday calendars being created, music playlists being shared, fun quizzes, exciting and cozy streams to hang in, discord channels, all this and more to have fun, make friends, create memories and share our love for pokemon and gaming and more.

And if these don't appeal to you, know that more ideas, initiatives and events are always welcome and that you can create the spaces you want to be a part of.

All this rambling to tell you that I hope you'll all stay around, keep manifesting, keep interacting, and that I'm rooting for you. Of course, if you need breaks sometimes, please do so! There is life outside this digital world and we're all only humans 💜
