Sometimes, you have to play the long game before you can see results.
Don't always think about what you can gain from somebody, but be strategic enough to think about what you can contribute.
If you're always a taker, you will only be seen as a parasite.
Request for Business Support
Great man @stayingpositif
I am seeking your support to help grow my egg business, a venture that not only provides income for my family but also supplies a daily essential food item to the community.
The demand for eggs continues to increase, but limited capital has made it difficult to purchase stock in larger quantities, expand distribution, and meet customer needs effectively. With your support, I will be able to increase inventory, improve delivery, reach more customers, and create opportunities for sustainable growth.
Your assistance will not simply support a business; it will empower a hardworking entrepreneur determined to build a reliable source of income and contribute positively to the local economy.
Every crate of eggs sold brings me one step closer to financial independence and business expansion. I am committed to making the most of any support received and ensuring it translates into measurable growth and long-term success.
Thank you for considering my request. Your support can make a meaningful difference in turning this vision into a thriving and sustainable business.
I pray you see this and grant my humble request amen. 🙏
Story time if you are still active.
Have you ever been so honest that you still got into trouble?
Back in secondary school, I went to visit my second elder brother from school.
Oga looked at me and immediately found free labour. He brought out a pile of clothes and asked me to wash them.
Unknown to me, he had hidden ₦150 inside one of the trousers to test my honesty. Unfortunately for him, he was testing the wrong person.
While washing, I found the money.
At that age and time, ₦150 was not money.
It was a government budget.
It was economic empowerment.
It was a destiny helper.
Before Oga returned, I had already gone to the market and bought one fine Italian leather sandal and a shirt I had been eyeing for weeks.
I even packed my bag, If the operation failed, I was ready to evacuate immediately. 😅
Then Oga came back.
“Did you see any money in my trouser?”
He was expecting:
“What money?”
“I didn’t see anything.”
Instead, I calmly replied:
“Yes, I saw it.”
His face brightened.
The test was working.
Then he asked:
“Where is the money?”
I said:
“I spent it.”
😭😭😭
The way his face changed…
Even the ancestors became interested.
He reported me to our eldest sister, expecting support.
After listening carefully, she delivered her judgment:
“He passed the honesty test.”
My brother nearly exploded.
She continued:
“He admitted finding the money.
“But spending it is a completely different thing.”
😭😭😭
Till today, I maintain that I was honest.
I told the truth from beginning to end.
My only mistake was assuming that if honesty is the best policy, then the money must have been allocated to my budget.
Apparently, honesty and budgeting are not the same thing.
One helps you pass the test. The other explains why the test money is no longer available.
Have you been tested that way before ?
You will not always be lucky.
When you make a bit of money, make sure you do something reasonable with it.
One day, the money might stop coming and you'll be stranded if you didn't invest it wisely.
