Hey you!! 🤩
It’s been a minute so let me re-introduce myself.
I’m Kristina. I’m a mom of 3. I’m a wife. I love skincare (@ETHYSTSkincare), socks, @drinkolipop, and Harry Potter.
Here are a few more things about me…
-I’m learning to be a girly girl again.
-I hate the body I’m in but I’m determined to love it more this year while simultaneously making better decisions for it.
-I love gaming…cozy gaming.
-I’m starting to love reading again.
-I love makeup but not as much as I used to because I’m finally more comfortable not wearing it.
-I don’t have my shit together and probably never will and I’m okay/not okay with that.
The end. Bye.
Nothing like someone confidently misreading skincare reviews, accusing your brand of having bad Reddit reviews that don't exist, confusing you with a completely different brand with a similar name, then blocking you instead of saying, "My bad."
Anyway... ETHYST still has 5-star reviews, independent certifications, and a skincare standard stricter than Sephora, Ulta, and Credo.
The internet remains undefeated in being loud and wrong. 😂
Moral of the story: Please fact-check before casually disparaging a small business online.
With respect, you have no idea what I’ve created here.
I've literally been WAITING for someone to say this.
Yes, my account includes marketing now. Wildly, I built an actual business on top of all the work I’ve done here.
Before I started posting marketing, because what is the point of posting anything else when it gets suppressed, I spent years creating more original content on this platform than almost anyone I know.
I organized comedy improv spaces with people from all over the country. I had a regular cast of 15 people doing live improvs weekend after weekend for over two years. We also created and edited full-on skits from afar. We created a fake news organization called UNN.
I created tons of characters and skits people literally asked for by name, including Judy and Amberella Nightshade.
I hosted a digital carnival for 17 days straight while also operating a booth at a real-life carnival for 17 days straight... for multiple years.
I used to livestream daily.
I created weekly self-care spaces and meditation spaces.
I hosted four separate podcasts live, exclusively on X.
I created bits that became viral in Spaces, including “A moment of silence.” Everyone was saying it.
I shared comedy scripts I wrote.
I created recipe videos, gardening videos, comedy scripts, animated shorts, paintings, illustrations, expert skin science education, live masterclasses with friends, and organized countless weird little internet experiments.
I shared knowledge here for free that I easily could have paywalled.
I was getting hundreds of thousands to millions of views.
Then my trademark was infringed upon. I filed a legal complaint with X, as I had every right to do, and suddenly it was like my account was turned off.
And on top of all of that, I personally developed and formulated ETHYST®, the Cleanest Skincare on the Planet™, an award-winning biological skincare line that actually helps people with their skin. CertClean certified. Leaping Bunny certified.
So again, with respect, please do not come over here acting like you know what I’ve created based on the tiny fraction of my work the algorithm lets you see now.
That is the biggest problem with X.
People show up late, see a sliver of someone’s output, mistake it for the whole picture, fall for the grift, repeat the lies, and then try to justify their weak vision through assumption.
What people think “creation” is on X has become a joke.
Show me one other person here who has done anything even remotely close to the range of what I’ve built, organized, written, hosted, performed, taught, created, and carried on this platform.
I’ll wait.
