I finally finished this painting.
A teacup lost in a forest will always stay a teacup โ no matter how much moss grows on it.
Out of place, pretending to belong.
What do you see in it?

My latest painting is still drying! It feels like itโs taking forever because Iโm used to acrylics rather than oils but hopefully soon Iโll be able to take better photos of it and tell you more about this paintingโs inspiration and intention.
๐จ I tried so many palettes before finding one (or two... or three...) that actually works.
Gray paper helped a lot โ but design made the biggest difference.

It's crazy when your dreams that you never believed can become true... become true! Next week I'll have my first solo exhibition and it still feels so absurd and surreal!
Both the painting and the varnish are now dry, so I could take the final pictures of my crane before its debut on my first solo exhibition soon! *screams out of excitement and introvert fear*

Ever had a paint that didnโt live up to the hype? After years of experimenting with acrylics, I'm saying goodbye to some brands and embracing new favorites. Check out my latest blog post!

So my latest crane painting took 5 victims: my clip lamp i used for painting broke, so did my laptop, my detailing brush snapped and 2 followers left xD
Fortunately the painting is finished and wonโt cause more damage. Buuuut Iโm starting another painting, so wish me luck! xD
