Farage got it wrong. We don’t trade more outside the EU, we trade less.
Farmers are not better off (exports down 40%) fishermen are not better off - our whole country is not better off.
We took back control of trade and traded less, we took back control of immigration and it grew exponentially….we expected less red tape but our export businesses got buried in it.
Brexit - what was it good for? Farage, what can we trust him on?

@NadineDorries So does cutting out the heavily processed ‘foods’ on sale in our supermarkets, eating more protein and less sugars. Eating whole foods instead of pre prepared foods filled sugars and chemicals.
This drug is not the answer, it’s part of a dangerous cycle.
@andreajenkyns Given the toxicity in politics it’s not a good idea to take your 7 year old son delivering political leaflets. I’ve been verbally attacked whilst delivering leaflets and had a grown man snatch the leaflets, tear them up and throw them in my face, this is no place for children.
@Conservatives I guess that’s a few billion less than you wasted during Covid so I’d say it’s a bargain. At least we’d see something positive from the money spent 😊
"Eight years ago today, our country voted to leave the EU. It’s a day etched in my memory, as one of the biggest disasters I’ve seen during my decades in politics.
Brexit was a crushing mistake, the result of deception and lies" Neil Kinnock @EuropeanMovement
What an extraordinarily disingenuous tweet.
Labour had nothing to do with the collapse of Northern Rock. In fact it bailed it out.
Meanwhile Rishi Sunak was a hedge fund manager at TCI which caused the collapse of RBS roughly a year later.
Heard a positive but sad story yesterday.
A friend's dad was always keen on exercise so he did a long bike ride once a week right up until he got diagnosed with advanced cancer.
After that, he became "obsessed" and exercised every day.
Doctors had originally said he'd live maybe 6 months.
5yrs later he was still going and still cycling every day.
He did eventually pass away but if that's what exercise can do for you whilst you're ill...
...imagine what its doing for you before that point.
When you tell yourself you don't have time for exercise, remind yourself you don't have time not to.
The UK has stopped its trade talks with Canada.
It has failed to negotiate a roll-over agreement post Brexit.
This means:
“the UK's trading terms with Canada will now be worse than when it was part of the EU's deal with the country.” https://t.co/Sy6DC4WSk3
"Heather Mills’s VBites vegan food firm collapses into administration"
"[She] added: 'Brexit has been an utter disaster for the supply and maintenance of the sector and the government doubtless has a lot to answer for.'"
Brexit a contributing factor. https://t.co/yQP0ZHRGYy
so someone f threw a full bottle of water from a bus at us today… about half an hour ago it happened again. Buses in central London stop a lot so we went after it. We found the culprit who is known to us and banned for 5 years from Westminster.
