I am so proud of the parent who blew the whistle and came to me with this story regarding @SamChampionHS.
Let’s recap - Champion High in Boerne, Tx “invited” a licensed psychologist named Dr. Sara Ansboro to come and speak during lunch hour to all students, 9-12, without parental consent. She spoke on gender identity, catholic priests, Christians lack of support for LGBTQ, and drugs that assist with transition. A concerned parent emailed the school to which the school responded and stated that, somehow, they were unaware of the guest speaker and apologized.
Why was a complete stranger allowed inside the school walls without permission?
I broke this story last week and since then, this parent’s son has been bullied by students, called a bigot and transphobe (by the same club members that told him he was in a safe place). He is special needs, diagnosed with autism and was a member of the GSA club. I was also harassed by students that used their student email accounts to do so, and was eventually doxxed by students attending the school. The teacher that was meant to be sponsoring the club and overseeing, had stepped down, and the school has not replaced her.
Tonight, @BoerneISD held a school board meeting. The parents SHOWED UP! I am so proud of Boerne, Tx. Thank you for standing up for your children. Let’s keep fighting! (If you want to see the entire story and photo evidence, I will link the original breaking story in the thread)
But first, listen to this momma roar!
The Texas shooter violated a multiplicity of gun laws. The suggestion that more gun laws would have prevented this act of unspeakable evil is unsupported, and the implication that those who oppose such laws are somehow in favor of mass shootings is morally reprehensible.
@oldwaver Imagine having recently moved to Houston 5 months ago, a born and raised Rangers fan, now living through this absolute misery. You literally can’t go ANYWHERE in this town without that hideous orange and blue in your face at every turn!
