Their numbers crept forward one by one, though their identities were still hidden.

The noblewoman went for Gaius. If these were enemies, she wouldn't go down easy.

@ThiefofYlisse -- Shocked, dazed and in pain from what was no doubt multiple broken ribs, the noblewoman tried to stand, her vision blurry and shrouded by the fog.

"Ugh... My blouse..."

There was red. Though she was more concerned for her clothes than her wounds. --

It most certainly was a sight to behold. Nothing that Maribelle had ever seen. If anything she was just annoyed that Joan hadn't taken her there sooner.

It was exotic and different and beautiful in it's own way. And yet... --

@FluffPathfinder Maribelle was quite unused to this form of transport as expected, so was more than a little queasy upon arrival.

@ThiefofYlisse -- or a man, but Maribelle didn't want to take that chance. Gripping her reigns, the noblewoman started riding hard, her poor horse not knowing what hit it until it was well into a gallop.

"Hold on!"

@ThiefofYlisse -- She decided to let it slide for now, so long as his hands didn't start to wander. If they did he'd likely find himself at the receiving end of a horses hoof.

The fog was thick, but Maribelle was sure she could see... something. It was hard to tell whether it was a tree --

She smiled whimsically.

"Why don't we take a walk and see where we end up, mm?"

The noblewoman giggled to herself. Well, at least Joan was trying.

"How often do you think of things we could do together?"

It didn't take long to notice Maribelle's expression. Even though he'd been busy with duties and chores, it wasn't rare for him to pay attention to his companions regardless.

But he'd never seen her like...this.
