@pastorfong CA has downgraded felony crimes to misdemeanor status with little to no repercussions. Shoplifters were seen with calculators adding up the items they were stealing to make sure that they were under $950 (a misdemeanor vs. felony) https://t.co/e32SpHo622
@00ando@LAPDHQ Hard times can fall on everyone, the rich and the poor alike. A large percentage of Americans are just a few paychecks away from homelessness. This video shows the stark reality of that. We need compassion not censure.
@LAPDHQ So lovely. Sadly, many classically trained musicians can't make a living; it's so incredibly competitive. We know Juliard concert pianists who must work as Starbucks baristas; my father in law, a pro singer in the 50's, ended up as a barber in the 60's when music styles changed.
@elizabethforma @realDonaldTrump You have no shame. Your false Native American claim should bring shame and contrition, instead you persist. Disgraceful.
@E_Reid35 Top talent always gets signed and paid since teams want to win! If you aren't getting drafted it because you aren't the top talent. It is easy to blame everyone else, but sometimes we have got to look inside and be honest with ourselves. Should've kept football as priority @1.
@JimCarrey@facebook Hollywood’s flagrant hypocrisy is alive and well! How conscionable to call out Facebook; I suppose it is easier to demand they clean-up their act than clean up your own house as a Hollywood actor who makes a living in an industry where immorality is pervasive.
@USC The tax cost has no bearing on our charitable giving. We have always determined that we will give a minimum of 10% of our income, even if we can't write off a penny of it. The recent tax cuts enable us to give more, because we get to keep more inceome as self-employed earners.
