Player demeanor is typically reflective of their coach’s. Coach with anger, they play with anger. Coach with joy, they play with joy. Occasionally one or two will stray, but hold accountable. This was a huge change in us this yr & it started at the top. I let go & they followed. https://t.co/6ZM7dl1jrj
Players: Who are you surrounding yourself with? Sometimes it’s unfair, but people are known by the company they keep, they are even better known by the company they avoid. Be very intentional about who you let in your circle. Bad company corrupts good character.
Basketball district game at 5PM@ Mexico High School tonight.
Wear white, purple, gold, or whatever you want. We just want you there! Community is closer to home so will bring a great crowd, let's show our Panther Pride by packing the gym, and being loud and proud. See U there.
Players: If your high school coach holds you accountable, you are VERY fortunate. A lot of high school coaches accept their players doing whatever they want to do, whenever they want to do it w/ no consequences. Discipline, responsibility & accountability are college & life prep!

School administrators can’t build culture by them selves... but they can certainly set the right tone.
And that tone is this:
1) Admin supports the teachers!
2) The teachers collaborate to support the students!
3) We’re gonna have fun doing it!
