Excellent. During Covid, my oldest daughter got robbed at gun point while driving in Faisalabad.
I tweeted about and it went viral. Within an hour, I started getting phone calls from the offices of CPO and RPO promising to catch the culprits (and saying please delete your tweet).
The following day we were invited in the RPO office (a wonderful officer) and met the CPO, DCO and the commissioner.
The SHO of our local police station came to our house, got the report written and next day, passed on to CID who called 2 days later telling me that they have arrested the robbers.
My daughter and I went down there and saw two men in real bad state and they said they are sorry to what they did to my daughter and the investigation officer told me that the money has been recovered too.
My daughter goes, they are not the people who robbed me but the IO insisted they were.
Anyway we didn’t pursue the case and 6 months later, the same IO contacted me and asked me to forgive them 😄
I went to the court and did that in front a judge. Never took the 25k as that was not our money.
Moral of the story; the battery that was recovered from the thieves; I bet that was not the one that was stolen.
