After heavy rain, hammerhead worms are returning near Lago Vista. These worms can cause burning or itching upon contact & are toxic to pets and wildlife.
For safety:
- Wear gloves and avoid direct contact.
- Use salt or vinegar to kill them.
- Do not cut them.
