Nigeria’s digital economy is growing, and I believe the real opportunity is in building solutions that solve actual problems for businesses
From stablecoins to AI, there’s so much potential when we connect innovation with real-world needs.
That’s why Lagos Blockchain Week 2026 is worth paying attention to, make sure you don’t miss it ❤️💯
#LagosBlockchainWeek
The digital economy is not an app store. It is whether a firm in Lagos can take payment, keep a record, and hire.
AI can plan the payment. Nigeria already moves value on stablecoins. The work left is the local leg: naira, a bank account, and a product an institution can use.
That room is Lagos Blockchain Week 2026. The Intelligent Economy.
Master Classes are live. Summit 13 November. Conference 14 November, 2026.

Soon, Lagos will stop being a city and become a marketplace.
Lagos Blockchain Week will make that happen
Founders. Investors. C-suite. Regulators. Builders. All in one room, with one agenda: move from talk to deals.
Nigeria's government has laid the foundation. This week is where the industry builds on it. Partnerships get signed, products get unveiled
Regulation isn't the enemy of Web3, Confusion is.
@VaspaAfrica is officially partnering with Lagos Blockchain Week, and that puts compliance, licensing and institutional trust on the agenda where investors and C-level leaders are actually listening.
Founders get clarity. Investors get confidence.
The industry gets a credible seat at the table.
Lagos Blockchain Week. Coming soon.
SIBAN is in.
Lagos Blockchain Week just got a stronger room.
@OfficialSiban is joining as an official partner, bringing its network of builders, founders and operators straight into the week.
If you're building in Web3 in Africa, this is where the people who move the ecosystem will be standing in one place.
• Hackathons.
• Pitch sessions.
• Real conversations that end in real deals.
If you're not here, you're missing out.
Operators still move naira, dollars, and stablecoins through informal FX, slow banks, and broken infra.
Lagos Blockchain Week 2026 is built around that problem.
We put product in the path of builders, treasuries, and policy.
Virtual working sessions, summit, conference.
If you run rails, treasury, product, or compliance, this is the room.

Flood alert for Lagos | 19–25 September.
Hon. Commissioner Tokunbo Wahab, Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, has asked residents to treat the NiHSA seven-day flood warning as urgent.
High-alert areas include Eti-Osa, Lagos Island, Oke-Ira Nla (Ajah), Kirikiri, Ilaje Waterfront, Jetty Terminal B, and communities along the Ogun River and other waterways.
Also:
Isheri North, Kara, Itowolo, Ajegunle, Majidun, Ogolonto, parts of Agboyi, and settlements downstream of Isheri Olofin.
Move to higher ground early.
Do not wait for the water.
Keep drains clear.
Do not walk or drive through floodwater.
No property is worth a life.
@tokunbo_wahab #CleanerLagos
Following the seven-day flood alert issued by the Nigerian Hydrological Services Agency (NiHSA), I urge all Lagosians, particularly residents of low-lying, riverine, coastal and flood-prone communities, to take the warning seriously and act early.
Areas including Eti-Osa, Lagos Island, Oke-Ira Nla (Ajah), Kirikiri, Ilaje Waterfront, Jetty Terminal B, and communities along the Ogun River and other waterways are advised to remain on high alert from September 19 to 25. Especially low-lying areas and riverbank communities, including Isheri North, Kara, Itowolo, Ajegunle, Majidun, Ogolonto, parts of Agboyi, and other settlements downstream of Isheri Olofin, to remain on high alert during the period 19th to 25th September.
Residents in vulnerable locations should move to safer and higher ground whenever necessary and should not wait for floodwaters to rise before taking action. No property is worth risking a life.
The Lagos State Government is intensifying monitoring of rainfall and river levels and will continue to work with relevant agencies to strengthen flood prevention and response measures.
I also urge residents to keep drains and waterways free of refuse, avoid walking or driving through flooded areas, and rely only on official flood forecasts and advisories.
Our priority remains the protection of lives and property. I encourage everyone to remain calm, vigilant and responsive to safety instructions as we continue to monitor the situation.
