Reflecting a lot today as it marks 1 year since the day I came minutes away from losing my life.. from what? Softball. The one thing I love more than anything. A slide into second base to avoid the tag.. something so small. It’s been the biggest battle of my life to return to the field and make a recovery nobody thought possible. It’s hard to look at this picture, but it’s an incredible reminder of how precious life is and how hard I fought to be where I am today.
