This is still one of my favourite screenshots I've taken. I remember summoning the Space Anomaly and looking out the entrance, only to see the planet perfectly aligned like this.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of No Man's Sky and the upcoming COSMOS update, I thought I'd share this screenshot I took back in 2017 using a mod called Crescent Worlds.

I still love the old No Man's Sky aesthetic. It had such a unique vibe. 🍸

What I'd love in a space update is a physical star, with planets rotating and orbiting around it. One of the first things I did at launch was fly towards the star, only to realise it was just a skybox.

I know it might not bring back the old visuals of NMS. My best guess is that COSMOS will be a space update, mainly because of the name, and space hasn't had a major overhaul yet.

@PeacefulGamer @NoMansSky I’ve had a few dreams like this, flying around and exploring all sorts of city planets, such as cyberpunk, futuristic, industrial, and modern-like city worlds. I remember planets like these being very rare in my dreams.

@MysteriousMrE4 @FeelingStranger Yes! I agree as well. Atlas Rises still had that really interesting terrain generation, which I miss.

@NCaptainsteve So, someone made a thread on Reddit trying to guess the emoji after we already knew the update's name (Cosmos), and the very first guess was 🍸. That was 8 days ago lol.
