I had a busy day today, but I finally made it up to O'Connell Street to meet with the protesters for Day 5. It was great to see some familiar faces from Meath, Cavan, and Louth.

I had a wee chat with James Geoghegan. I hope he is well compensated by the media for defaming him.

The atmosphere there is great: Gardaí on the ground are pleasant, and traffic is flowing—only O'Connell Street is blocked. Traffic on the Quays is flowing too.

Hopefully, this government will put an end to these countrywide protests tomorrow with a package that benefits everyone.

Keep it peaceful.

• Control the food control the people.
• We still have strength
• We still have choice
• Support those producing your food
• Or learn the lesson the hard way
