@skulltyps Going by your own logic here, the redesign you've made would still be problematic.

All you did was supposedly make a childish character. Look more like a teenager, which would therefore still be too young by this.

End result, both versions would be acceptable by any anime fan.

DVR and other methods of pausing live tv was definitely available during the time of CRT tvs.

@AkanePlushies This so does happen. DVR was a thing at the time is show was live in English Dub and VHS of DBZ is English was a thing as well.

In the style of this setup, 90% of the time, people would have the VHS player or game console ect. inside that wooden tv stand.
