Members of Lajna PV sold scrunchies and bookmarks at the Canada Day event at Tahir Hall. The proceeds will go to The Canadian Library in order to purchase Indigenous fabric to make book covers. These covers will be embossed with names of missing Indigenous women. #CanadaDay2023

Lajna members of PVE celebrated Yaum-e-Tashakkur (Day of Gratitude) on June 12. This event was organized in order to commemorate 100 years of Lajna. Alhamdulilah, this event was a success and it was a joyful occasion for all of the attendees!

Alhamdolillah, 4 lajna members from PVE were able to plant 20 trees during a tree planting event at Russell Tilt Park.

Huzoor (aba) has advised that "whenever one tree is cut, two trees should be planted in return.”
