Just because you think you have mastered a technique does not mean you stop drilling it. Practice even your best moves all the time! #Wrestle#Win#Mentaledge#Mindset
The fact that you go to the gym even though you don’t “need” to... is why you don’t need to.
The fact that you save when you could spend... is why you have money to spend.
Your habits create your strength.
Congrats to the JV wrestlers for their hard work at the Manhattan JV Invite. Caleb Taylor finished in 1st place and Sam Tindell and Preston Gillen finished in 2nd. Everyone got better tonight.
Congrats to our wrestlers for their 7th place team finish at the very tough Beloit Invite, inspite of only having 9 wrestlers. Individual medalists were Justin and Jon Rakestraw at 6th place, Kai Allen and Gideon Remer at 5th place, and Scott Kuhn with a 3rd place finish.
Our wrestlers are currently in 6th place as a team at the Beloit Invite after the first day of action. More wrestling tomorrow as several of our guys are within striking distance of individual medals.
We will be wrestling at the Junction City Invitational Friday, Jan 26th to make up the points we lost from the cancelled St. Mary's tournament. All non-seniors will still compete at the Manhattan tournament Friday the 25th.
Awesome night on the mats. The Eagles went 3-0 in our duals. 69-0 against Atwood, 51-23 against Royal Valley, and 34-33 against the very tough JV team from 5A's #5 team, Blue Valley SW.
The wrestling team travels to St. Mary's tonight to dual Rawlins Co, Blue Valley SW and Royal Valley. Be aware that the start time had been moved to 4. We return to St. Mary's on Saturday to compete in their invitational tournament.
Motivation is not magical. It doesn’t come and go with the wind. It’s an active choice and a skill that can be practiced and sharpened. Decide to have a positive outlook and refuse to be mediocre. Your motivation will rise! #mindset#mentaledge
5th place at the Burlington Invitational. Congratulations to Kai Allen for his championship, Scott Kuhn for a 2nd place finish, and Peyton Cook and Gideon Remer for their 5th place medals.
Process based wrestler. Not results driven. Worry about results you get beat. Process wrestlers get better every go, every period, every practice, every day!!
