Congratulations to LMHS’s own Elisa Case! In addition to Holocaust Literature, Mrs. Case teaches AP European History and English 1, providing a remarkable learning experience for a wide range of students. Every student and teacher should spend some time in Mrs. Case’s classroom.
Outstanding article about a fellow Timken graduate and former colleague at Central Catholic.
Always a teacher, always a class act, always humble. Every coach could learn something from this guy.
Congratulations to our students, staff, and families!! U.S. News and World Report ranked the "Middle" in Lake Middle High School #35 out of 2407 middle schools in Ohio, and the grades 9-12 part of our school #50 out of 903 Ohio schools - both #1 in Stark County!

Time for my yearly post. Got there early, our boys gave it all they got, our student section gave it all they got, we came up a little short. But there’s more. Even in disappointment, we can still leave a place better than we found it. The Lake kids…they always make me proud.
This is how I started my day! The Class of '26 starts the year with "Senior Sunrise"! A large number of seniors gathered for a pretty impressive morning tailgate, cleaned up their area, and even made it to class on time! These are LAKE kids.
Congratulations to Dani Scheffler, finishing as RUNNER-UP in the 1600 meter run at the OHSAA State Championships! Next up: she will compete in the 3200 meter run in less than an hour!
Sending thoughts and prayers from the Blue Streaks to this family and the North Canton City Schools 😔.

Blue Streak Stadium is ready for the Class of ‘25, and the Class of ‘25 is ready for wherever their lives should take them. Our world really needs people like you right now, but never forget who you are and where you’re from. Go get ‘em.
Another memorable time at the Exceptional Olympics! This is one of my favorite days and events and I get to spend it with some of my favorite people! And we win every year!
Congratulations to our 7th and 8th grade band members and our directors! This doesn’t happen without hours of preparation and practice. Looking forward to watching these talented musicians perform for 4-5 more years!
Fantastic job to our Lake 7th & 8th grade band members in their performances today at the OMEA Middle School Solo & Ensemble at Alliance High School! Each performance received a Superior or Excellent rating of a I or a II! Here are a few pics of some of our AWESOME performers!
Congratulations to Aubrey Eisele, the Stark County “Athlete of the Week”!
Always proud to see our outstanding student-athletes recognized! https://t.co/gnFnlGqs5r via @cantonrepdotcom
This is not just a fight for public school districts. The parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles of the approximately 1.6 million public school students in Ohio - many of whom are public school graduates - need to speak up. @ohiosenate@ohiohouse

28 years ago, Ohio Supreme Court declared Ohio’s method of funding public education unconstitutional. Nearly 20% of state spending on private school vouchers goes to families in the top income brackets in the state – people with 6-7 figure salaries. Accountability @GovMikeDeWine
Today, we determine the amount of state funding that colleges and universities receive by the number of students completing courses, certificates, and degrees. Our budget takes this to the next level by partially funding our state colleges and universities based on actual student outcomes, including how many students get a job after graduation.
This will make Ohio the first state in the nation to tie a significant portion of funding for colleges and universities to graduates who are getting jobs!

Our grapplers sent a program record of 11 wrestlers to districts this weekend. Three battled their way to the podium and two punched their ticket to 2025 @OHSAASports State Wrestling Championships!
Hey! Hailey Galbreath from Walsh University stopped by today to let Nate Teeple know that he is receiving a Presidential Honors Scholarship. Full tuition - won’t pay a dime. Congratulations to Nate and his family! @WalshUniversity
