🚨 Your breakdown on the newest Laker: Cameron Carr 🟣🟡
A 7'¾ wingspan, a 42.5" max vert, and a catch and shoot stroke built for life next to Luka and Austin.
Still in shock he was there for LA, props to Pelinka for trading up to grab him.

Who are your Lakers 2nd round my guys?
I’ll go first ⬇️
In no particular order: Baba Miller, Ugonna Onyenso, Braden Smith, Dillon Mitchell
Love Veesaar & Evans as well but they’re in a different tier of players for me.
Sources: The Los Angeles Lakers are acquiring No. 56 from the Chicago Bulls in the second round of the NBA draft tonight at 8 pm ET on ESPN. Lakers sent cash to the Bulls to get a pick tonight.
@ShuTakeyashi10 That would be fantastic, but I think Lakers are gonna need to attach assets to get off Vandos contract.
DK maybeeeeee you could get a 2nd but even that might be unlikely at this point it seems.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the Lakers announced Austin’s extension as the highest paid UDFA of all time, the same day as round 2 of the draft.
Pretty good success story to sell if you’re trying to pitch agents/players to force their way to LA.
You can argue about the overall value of the contract, but this deal starts at the max for Reaves and goes up with 8% raises. No way to structure it as a declining deal and get to the same total salary.
Glad to have Austin back! Initial reaction is that it is pricier than I expected but you couldn’t let him walk.
That Brooklyn max must’ve been looming large in negotiations.
I’m sure Laker fans are gonna be super normal the first time he has a bad game this year 😅
Los Angeles Lakers star Austin Reaves intends to sign a four-year, $185 million maximum contract to return to the franchise, with a player option for the final season in 2029-30, sources tell ESPN. Reaves declined his $14.9M player option for the new max deal.
