@wxmmoz Yes it’s about £12 per month but I think you can have up to 100 users in different meetings so it should have enough capacity for our busy evenings if everyone wants to use it. Don’t quote me tho, I’m not the tech bod.
Western Lakes held their first online meeting this evening! 1st Beckermet Beavers played Pictionary via Zoom. It’s the leader’s turn on Monday. 😃#skillsforlife#CumbriaScouts
Very proud of our Deputy District Commissioner Allan Simpson, who spent the weekend in Kandestag as Team Lead on the Impact of Scouting Working Group in the European Region. 😃 #CumbriaScouts#SkillsForLife
Not many photos from Wintercamp 2020 cos the weather was so bad but we all survived and here’s an idea of the atmosphere inside a canvas mess tent with 17 young people, 6 adults, 4 gas burners, 2 petrol lamps, and a wood burner...
Campfire at the end of the day. Seascale are in the lead with the only Good Camping pennant so far. Gosforth and Cleator Moor still on Standard. All to play for tomorrow...
Opening ceremony at Western Lakes Scout Camping Competition. Explorers ready for their supporting roles. Camp judging starts in five minutes. Promises to be a fun and sunny weekend! 😄⛺️
Cub Curry Night. Didn’t actually curry any Cubs but got the Leaders around the table for food, chat and ideas for the forthcoming Scouting year. Exciting times.
Mountain Weekend Day Two: Explorers. Red Pike. What a difference! Low visibility, high winds, dynamic risk assessment and route planning. Ice creams in the rain. Nine happy young people and another Hill Walking Permit in the bag. Yay! #SkillsForLife
