This reminded me of a guy in my locality from my hometown who is a regular drunkard and regularly creates nuisance. In 2022 he had a fight with a local leader in which this guy was the culprit, and since then whenever he creates nuisance he chants Jai Shree Ram loudly.

I don’t know why it feels like the government was in a hurry to end this student protest. Maybe something else is coming up, and they don’t want to mix or add other protesters, which would be difficult to manage later.

> Disable Payment gateway of Hemkunt and other NGOs who are taking funding from people to deliver food

There is no bigger gimmick than new tax regime and no tax up to 12L income.

Forget about any additional tax relief, If Govt had only adjusted old tax regime to real life inflation over last 12 years, old regime would have been better for people earning 12L above than new regime. Since they didn’t change old regime over years, new regime looks attractive.

It’s same like you reduce the mileage of Ethanol blended petrol so badly that pure petrol starts looking attractive even at 170.

They never make a policy to help public genuinely, they just make policy that can be marketed like a great product but poor utility in real. Problem is that there are only 2% income tax payers and 98% don’t understand the cunning mindset of this Govt.
