I’m not taking sides, but I really hope this whole situation makes GMMTV rethink how they manage things. The company has had so many issues for years, and it feels like they never fully address them. Low quality merch that’s overpriced, ridiculously slow shipping, treating artists differently, not doing enough to keep artists safe at overseas events, poorly organized events, rushed productions, and dramas with weak scripts that feel like they were thrown together.
I get that every company is in business to make money, especially one that’s grown as fast as GMMTV and has so many artists under one roof. Of course they’re going to focus more on the artists who bring in the most revenue. But their management has been messy for a long time. It honestly feels like they care more about making money off the fans than actually listening to or respecting them. At the end of the day, I’m not surprised something like this happened. It felt like it was only a matter of time.
