Former amateur football player and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani said Egypt ‘got robbed’ in its World Cup round-of-16 loss to Argentina while speaking at an event announcing faster bus service.
Los 4 minutos y 21 segundos de la vergüenza.
261 segundos del mayor escandalo que se recuerda en un Mundial.
Seguramente la FIFA hará todo lo posible por que no lo veas.
Maxima difusion!

“greatest of all time” my ass.
Why are women held to a different standard when it comes to promiscuity?
This double standard did not just fall from the sky today. It was built systematically over thousands of years.
If we look at early human history, especially when people started settling down, owning land, and building wealth, the biggest obsession for a man was inheritance. A man wanted to pass his wealth to his own true bloodline.
The major issue was paternity certainty. A woman always knows a child is hers. A man could only be sure if he strictly guarded the woman's sexuality. Because of this, female purity was turned into a strict economic and social necessity.
The early patriarchal societies and ancient empires heavily promoted this. In fact, they did not just encourage it, they wrote it into their laws. An example of such law is Mesopotamia and the Code of Hammurabi in the ancient Babylon.
The code of Hammurabi was so brutal against women such that a married man is allowed to sleep with unmarried women or slaves. But if a woman tries it, she is to be drowned in the water.
They succeeded in doing this because men held the economic power. They became the lawmakers, and they conveniently gave themselves a free pass. Generation after generation grew up seeing this, and the world just accepted it as normal. Then, society normalized it so much that it became a reflex to praise the conquering man and condemn the woman.
This is where human culture completely deviated from divine morality. Society created a very comfortable escape route for men, but faith never did.
As Muslims, we know that a sin is a sin. There is no divine law that gives a man a lighter scale for his excesses. The rules on chastity and the serious spiritual consequences of promiscuity apply equally to both the man and the woman. The punishment is the same. The moral decay is the same.
Society just decided to play judge with a rigged scale because the people making the societal rules were men trying to protect their own desires.
What we are dealing with today is just the leftover cultural baggage of those ancient rules.
Allah knows best.
Did you all hear what Onyedikachi said? I brought the gold medal to Nigeria. Nigeria won!

🚨🗣 Jamie Carragher on Egypt's Canceled goal by VAR:
🗣"I am telling you that, if that was against another team it would have been awarded as a goal"
"If that was in the premier league, Laliga or Serie A, it would have been a goal even after VAR review, there is a lot of inconsistency lately in this tournament"
How can you all fault a man who is doing this? Is it because he is Igbo or what? Cos I don’t understand where the myopic bias is coming from. If it is about his political choice, leave that aside. You can’t fault him on that. He is doing tremendously well👏🏿👏🏿
