"[You never let him win, did you shane?] Yuna’s question foreshadows TLG. It speaks to how Shane grew up and to his competitiveness, but it’s also a reminder of what the stakes are for them. If Shane’s mother has a doubt, other people will be doubting, too"
Im not ready ☹️
[Honesty promise at the cottage] At this point, I trusted Hudson and Connor so much with their characters. We moved from a sexually charged moment to a big intimate moment here. Hudson was so wonderful and sweet and tender, and I trusted in Connor’s humour and in-scene reaction”
“When ilya says shane’s first name this time [bedroom at tampa], he’s wondering if he’s allowed to say it or if that’s going to scare shane away again. Shane knows exactly what he means this time [‘goodnight, Ilya’]. Now he is giving Ilya permission to call his name”
“Ilya is always calling shane boring, but he thinks he’s anything but. He’s obsessed with him. He says it because he knows it gets a reaction from shane. If he used a word other than ‘boring,’ he would be revealing too much.”
This!!! Hudson and Jacob really understood Shane as character, his background as a gay POC in a white-dominated hypermasculine sport, and how his personality was shaped by that. And now, with S2/3, let’s hope for some great character development! I have faith in both of them 👏🏽
like this is Connor’s fanbase online in a nutshell
“compared to darker skinned actors”
@girlnorbf you may have not been told today but you’re a right foul git.
@moodringangel Sorpresa que salga a defender a RR? Si no pueden ni defender a la parte Hud de su ship, que esperaba de ellas? Pero cuando tocan algo de Ilya se proyectaaannn
"—Ottawa next year.
He looks at Ilya, Ilya looks at him, but says nothing.
—My hometown. And the International Prospect Cup. I mean, next year the International Prospect Cup will be in my hometown. Which is Ottawa"
