You know is getting bad in Canada when the media has lawyers on informing the public on how they can better protect their data from the Government.

Bill C-22 has a section that has raised considerable alarm which would require “core” providers to retain all users metadata for up to a year and create capacity for investigators to access their systems.

Safety Minister Gary needs to go.

My autistic son decided to send his cousin a birthday card with a gift card inside without my knowledge. Unfortunately, he forgot to seal the envelope and also forgot to put postage on it.

Somehow, the envelope still arrived safe and sound, with both the birthday card and gift card intact.

Thank you, Canada Post, for the kindness and care that went into ensuring it was delivered. It may have seemed like a small thing, but it meant a great deal to my son and our family.
