🇮🇱🇺🇸🇮🇷 Israel is reportedly frustrated after Trump canceled a major planned strike on Iran at the last minute...
The U.S. was "locked and loaded" for a large-scale attack, believed to be targeting energy infrastructure, when Trump suddenly called it off.
He said Iran and other Middle Eastern countries asked for a delay because the basic outlines of a deal had been agreed. That deal would include fully reopening the Strait of Hormuz and ending Iran’s nuclear threat.
Israel was caught by surprise. Reports say Jerusalem learned late and felt the move undercut Netanyahu’s claim that the two countries were fully aligned on Iran.
Trump insists the pause only holds IF the deal is finalized QUICKLY, and he claimed Israel is on board with the commitment.
For now, the strike is off and diplomacy is being given a chance (however unlikely), and Israel has to accept that.
