I actually enjoy what we've gotten so far in s3 pt.1. I always remind myself not to judge the writing too much yet because of that. there's pt.2 to be considered next.

bridon arc was a set up arc for s3, a bit if a filler. hence, why it's lighter than s1&s2. iirc, supposedly there's no need to view bridon before s3 but we can't be sure as of now...

so far to me the narrative shifted more to being plot driven rather than character driven, not necessarily a bad thing just an observation on my end. S1 seperate dive cases leading up to the climax of Emma's story in the finale. S2, Li twins as the highlight.
