@kevinhatchard Disagree it's down to Alonso style. He fits the bill for the role more than anyone. And certainly more than a coach who had only been at Bournemouth and Rayo Vallecano. He's never played X2 weekly football or won anything.
They have a squad, that is so strong and has so much quality. And a Lego head in charge who’s first thought is to not lose a game rather than go and win it…
He didn’t help himself, and the footy was shit. However, it’s a massively shit summer 2025 for many of the reasons. But the people involved last summer, now have a huge task and they have to get it 100% right
Had an hour walking about it, and I’m quite frustrated now… I 100% think it is right for everyone involved in the decision. However, Edwards, Hughes and all those involved in the decisions around last summer should be held accountable for the shit hand the baldy fella was dealt
@_lfcleanne The other side of the deal is interesting. Alonso has now taken the 2 jobs in world football where if you’re sacked after 4-6 months no one will bat an eye because it’s what them clubs do. I also think him turning us down once before did it for the owners
