@liamgallagher @NoelGallagher my lad and his pal, I think it would make a great album cover……two young mods!

[Ian Tomlinson @Lambrettakid]

@rachel_viollet Hi Rachel, Forgot to mention in my message yesterday, we also have a few photos of our great grand parents if they are of any interest?

[Ian Tomlinson @Lambrettakid]

@rachel_viollet Hi Rachel, Not sure if you have seen this before? Just found in our family album, Dennis and my dad (John Tomlinson) are cousins, my dad thinks your Grandma may be sat in the middle? They all look like they are having a good time!😀

[Ian Tomlinson @Lambrettakid]

The guy sat next to your dad is our great uncle Tom (Tomlinson), my grandad (Harold) told me that he had signed a contract with United just prior to WW1, unfortunately for him he was sent to France and lost a leg and that was his football career over before it started 😥

[Ian Tomlinson @Lambrettakid]

@rachel_viollet Glad you liked photo Rachel, it came from my grandparents album, yes we must be 2nd cousins. It’s been my claim to fame all my life that I am related to your dad😁 I would have loved to have met him!

[Ian Tomlinson @Lambrettakid]

@rachel_viollet A couple more of Dennis inc my dads sister (Joyce) and my grandmother that was used in the united man film, I am sure you will have these but I thought I would send anyway….cheers Ian

@gmpolice Bolton Borough Police officers Geoff Lace & Joe Rushton rescuing a swan somewhere in Bolton circa 1950s.

[Ian Tomlinson @Lambrettakid]

@LancPolMemorial Bolton Borough Police, A/Sgt Geoff Lace holding swan was fatally injured when struck by van while on foot patrol Feb 1962 aged 38, my grandfather Joe Rushton right on the photo.

[Ian Tomlinson @Lambrettakid]

@RyanMcHenry67 @AnthonyRJoseph @rumours_celtic The guy is a class act, you won't be disappointed with this signing once you see him play! Watched him loads of times last season living in Preston, cannot believe a big prem team not come in for him!

[Ian Tomlinson @Lambrettakid]

@NowtbutaLad Class photo of police cadets inc my grandfather (Joe Rushton) undertaking their training at Stanley Grange police training school in Samlesbury 1947; further photo showing them on parade.

[Ian Tomlinson @Lambrettakid]

@NowtbutaLad Hoghton F.C team photo taken just over 20 years ago before a night game at our home pitch near the boars head; having personally represented both Hoghton & Brindle its a great shame neither village has a men's team anymore!

[Ian Tomlinson @Lambrettakid]

@gazpunch Me to....even covered in mud😁

[Ian Tomlinson @Lambrettakid]

I am surprised ITV continue to show classic emmerdale as its really showing up modern emmerdale as being badly crap with weak storylines and a bad set rather than being filmed in a proper village as it was back in the day!🤔😖😖 #classicemmerdale
