So as a bit of a personal project of mine I decided to tally up all the cards from the most recent Standard Challenges since LCI's release, to like 99% accuracy this was all done basically by hand.

@gbrew5555@SaffronOlive It also works differently enough that it wouldn't work here. Smogon Tiers aren't directly based on power level, but by usage. So for example, an "OU" card would be Cultivate or Beast Within but wouldn't be like Ad Nauseum. It's an okay subsitute but not really perfect.
@MBTYuGiOh This was a match-up that was maybe, if you were kind, like 95-5. There were lines you could take to try and push through the backrow and the floodgates and beat over Master Peace but sometimes you sat down, put on a stone cold face, and hoped your opponent hadn't read Vanishment.

Still not super sure on this one but I've been trying to brainstorm ways to really make the new Snake work.
Might also brew up a Golgari version running despark Nissa too
@MBTYuGiOh This wasn't even the only reason I played this nightmare of a deck. Did you know W Nebula Meteorite flips up ALL of your monsters!??? Imagine if you have a Falco and a Squamata, or a Dragon! A hand of Xex / Fusion / Meteorite / Shadow Games occasionally did things!
@MBTYuGiOh I was literally trying Shaddolls with ANYTHING that seemed even slightly synergistic, and I cooked too close to the sun with this one. Hope's discard is part of the effect, so you could use it as a mini Shaddoll Beast while it was also a LIGHT for Construct.
@MBTYuGiOh This card man...this card. The worst feeling was your opponent seeing you pop it yourself with Ignition, set Moralltach, and then PWWB your Moralltach away while the Beagalltach trigger was on the stick to own you into the next century.
@MBTYuGiOh An oldie but a goodie. Deck was completely overshadowed by Dragon Rulers when Spirit had first come out and then 4-axis largely took over from there.
This banlist in particular had a LOT of pre-emptive hits that didn't make sense.
@ACR_Phenom@MBTYuGiOh Yeah I don't play Master Duel because I don't like it so I have no idea what goes on over there lol.
Spright Elf was like THE way you played through interruptions.
@MBTYuGiOh Gishki wasn't designed in a field where Ash Blossom or Imperm or Called by ever existed, and you can often feel how brittle these decks can be when faced with interaction they can't handle.
The amount of test hands where Gishki just died to a hand trap felt too numerous.
@MBTYuGiOh This one is going to seem a bit odd now that Yugioh is generally quite a bit faster and it comes up less often, but "Don't play to lose slower, play to your outs and play to win" were big ones for me. Learning to recognize when the safe lines would lead to me losing was huge.
