I am informed that Jane Hawdon whom I took to court alongside the Royal Free hospital for harassment and discrimination has now retired both from her NHS work and as a governor at the Aldenham School. Whatever the outcome of my tribunal eventually in September - seeing her give evidence only cemented my opinion that noone's medical license should be in her hands. Knowing they no longer are will help me sleep at night.

The targeting of Lebanese paramedics by Israeli forces has not stopped. The Islamic Health Authority said (Thursday) two paramedics were injured in an Israeli double-tap strike targeting a civil defence team as it attended an earlier strike site in Nabatieh in southern Lebanon. The team's ambulance was also damaged in the attack. This brings the number of injured emergency responders to at least 260 since the latest Israeli war on Lebanon began on March 2. According to Lebanon's Health ministry, 130 paramedics have been killed in more than 176 direct attacks on rescue teams.
