Angela Rose Harris talks about her near-death experience (NDE) in 2015. At the time, she was a teacher and a mother to young children, dealing with serious health issues. some of you might recall $MCC from a few years ago. initially seemed like a great project led by an articulate dev who discussed his plans clearly via a series of x spaces

despite a series of setbacks the community remained loyal and project amassed an investment treasury which currently stands at $21.8m

the only problem is that for the past two years at least there has been total silence from the dev

yet the project hasn’t rugged and the funds that were committed by community members are just sitting there

one community member @banksy_rules has made considerable progress tracking down the dev through contract interactions via @coinbase but sadly the management at Coinbase don’t seem to care or want to help track down the one person who can fix this mess

the impact that the MCC fiasco has had on the lives of many has been profound and it’s very sad to see. only this week one member of the community has been talking seriously about taking his own life

of course in crypto we are all responsible for our own investment decisions at the end of the day, however when there is a potential resolution to return funds to investors and the one entity that might be able to help is not willing to help in any way, to the extent that ppl are talking about ending their lives, well that’s just tragic

I personally cannot wait for this cycle to be over..

I know that sounds silly and we should all want to make as much gains as possible..

But it's no secret that I don't want to be here beyond this cycle and I've said I owe it to my family to see this one out

I've stuck around to research as much as I can and try to maximize gains.. which I continue to share here so others can hopefully benefit

Even with mis-steps and errors along the way.. I believe overall, my presence here with this account has been a positive

But man.. I am tired

I have serious fatigue with the social media side of things and have been yearning for the cycle to end so I can slink away to investing back in the shadows

I detached from the follower count a long time ago and realized it had little importance in the grand scheme of things..

The impact my research and content had on others was the reason I found joy in continuing

But it all comes with a plethora of negativity..

Some self-inflicted, but others just cruel and upsetting.. I can't forget the messages of death threats to my family, no matter how much you want too

There comes a point where you question whether they are just from disgruntled investors who lost money on a project you spoke of.. or someone who genuinely has intentions to do something evil

Over the years.. that has left plenty of emotional scars

My motivation has always been to secure the future of my family.. it is the reason I've worked my ass off over the past three cycles

My wife and daughter are everything to me.. I think people recognize that as times gone by..

I am happy to share that I achieved everything I initially set out to do when I first started investing in #crypto

Now it is about placing that big red cherry on top of the cake and securing the futures of the rest of my family and friends

I never had a lot growing up and in my early adult life.. always struggling and trying to make ends meet, which became harder having my daughter so young..

To then have the kind of money and security I could only dream of back then has taken a lot of mental adjustment and emotional balancing

I am of the strongest belief that making money causing you to confront the real reason of your unhappiness

When you have nothing, its easy to blame all your sadness and problems on the lack of money..

"Wait until I get rich, then I'll be happy!"

But when you realize that's not the case.. it causes you to look directly at the source of your depressions

Which is an incredibly hard thing to do and something I have had to battle throughout this journey

I still struggle with it till this day

I have sacrificed a lot over the years.. time away from my family being the main one..

Which is why I am keen to move away from the time-sync of investing the way I have been operating for the past 8 years and move towards a more stable and sensible approach to growth

I want my time back with the people I love..

"It's not about money, it's about time"

I don't know what the future will bring or what my next big journey will be..

All I know is, it won't be here and it won't be public

I am more than ready to slink away and reduce my circle to just those I truly love

But with what little time we have left together here..

I hope to enjoy it and watch everyone else achieve their dreams too
