So today I’ve been drinking, playing Madden and watching movies, One Battle After Another then Sinners in particular again as a post Oscar review and I realized something..

I’ve been asked several times both on this app, real life, and on social media a loaded question…

“What is White Culture?”

I’ve searched the interwebs and never saw an answer that was both deep and simple enough to satisfy me. But I realized what “White Culture” is..

It’s Stability… Stability in an unstable world.

I’m Italian, my American lineage started just after 1900 from what I’ve learned, but my bloodline is Italian and I celebrate a shared American identity more than my genomic heritage.

White Culture is a shared societal construct. A moral, behavioral understanding based primarily on Judeo-Christian Conservative values with a tinge of built in imperialism that has brought forth the most prosperous, powerful, and generous nations in the history of our species.

What astounds me is that these Western Nations have grown so powerful and welcoming that significant portions of their own populous actively try to denigrate the very existence they are blessed with as a form of societal non-conformity and said behavior is not only acceptable, but rewarded with wealth and status.

I feel lost in this world..

Like I understand everything and nothing at the same time...

We have a cultural sickness and one of the main symptoms is a complete and utter lack of respect for any authority figure.

Law enforcement doesn’t have to respect you, but if you’re kind to them, they’re generally kind to you. As a citizen it’s your responsibility to not react hostile when confronted with a figure of authority.

Feeling “disrespected” and crashing out is a child’s mindset and ruins lives turning minor incidents major in seconds.

As a civil society we engage in what is referred to as a social contract.

A general means of behavior that leads to a cohesive community.

We shouldn’t even need laws yet here we are with a large subset of our population living outside of these norms and acting with contemptment when confronted with consequences for their actions.

These unjust laws you speak of are what makes the Western world function. Without them we would be living in a violent squalor as it is elsewhere.

Where is this? This is the area and people I want to live around again. Everyone waiting patiently, no speeding by, no honking, just normal people coming together to do some awfully dangerous (never go near a mother moose with calfs) but good deed.

This would never happen in the southern Hell Hole that is South Carolina where I’m unfortunately stuck.
