Last June we installed 12 Swift boxes in St John's Church, Ellel. This year 4 of them were used! Not sure how many have fledged, but a great start. Apologies to this bird for very briefly disturbing it with a peek through the checking hatch.

@drannaspanna15 @swiftsweek @LDBWSnews If there are boxes for Swifts and sparrows then, if possible, the entrances to the Swift boxes can be blocked off till they get back so the sparrows use the right ones. Sometimes easier said than done. More boxes for everyone is the answer!
