@JonROhman @GEAviation @BoeingAirplanes Fair play to the old girl holding tight to that thing 😮 testament to the design (plus some serious strengthening and a crazy big pylon)
Spool!
@HuntColin58 @Arthurvw1986 @MuseumTangmere Good call Colin - that’s one I remember - and can still hear the engines! That’s when air displays were so cool - all the classic Jets 👍🏻
Took the Lanc out for a shoot at the weekend. This is a Tamiya 1/48th scale I built in remembrance of my pal David Fellowes, who flew with 460 RAAF Sq as Tail-Gunner. Made it through the war and ended up as Loadmaster for my Dad at British Eagle! This is ‘O’ Oboe.
Please guys @F1- loose the blue haze. All cars look the same. We need to see the car more. Too much like a game. Graphics are cool but just not the screen? Maybe edit? Thanks for reading 👍🏻
So badly let-down by everyone @braintree They’re the card payment arm of @PayPalUK Horrendous Customer support, bad training. If you’re thinking of using #ecommerce do NOT use these people. Use @Barclays or someone. #warned
@KresySiberia You didn’t exactly ‘save’ our country Kresy, but you helped us immensely throughout the War, especially your brave Pilots, sacrificing their lives for a cause. Trouble is, there’s no cause anymore 😕 people of today are far different than people back then.
@BillMachin Hey Bill, good to hear from you. You mean the Hachette 1/12th scale? I finished her, but not completely, she has no markings - very busy schedule over the last couple of years. I’ll take some and post 👍🏻
This photograph is taken in Canada Dock in Liverpool, 1909. The gentleman in uniform is “Mauretania’s” first Chief Engineer, John Currie.
RMS MAURETANIA was one of the most famous ships ever built on Tyneside.
Back to aviation and another big favourite of mine is this shot of the spitfire and typhoon flying close together in 2015, hard to comprehend the skill involved in doing this.
Good morning, the ongoing issue with the landing system for 27L has now been resolved.
Therefore this morning we will be back in line with the runway alternation
schedule. Landing on the southern runway 27L and taking off from the northern
runway 27R.
