Watching the Public Safety Vice Chair vow to get to the bottom and hold people accountable because a staffer forgot to cut and paste part of a boilerplate report vs how basically said nothing when told an OPOA board member made 500K in overtime for writing accident reports.

On the plus side, Council and Mayor received a strong message to cut police spending today, get a hold of overtime and most importantly, deny OPOA an 8th raise in as many years. Also to enforce GPS in OPD cruisers to sharpen 911 response time, and prosecute overtime fraud in OPD

Don't let the City fool you, all throughout the debate on the EAP, they were towing vehicles people resided in. I just spoke to someone whose vehicle and trailer were towed in early May, despite the fact that the EAP has not yet gone into effect.
