It’s very difficult to balance being a recreational pervert and a competitive racist. I’m ngl, seeing white ppl do blackface just comes off weird. And I’m white lol. But seeing white face is funny to me. Idk. I think it’s the delivery of how it’s done. Black face has never been done in a funny way (besides once, and it was a movie). Generally when black face is done, it’s done in bad taste. When white face is done, it’s always done in comedic fashion. It’s received better because it’s done better. That’s the reason why black face only worked in Tropical Thunder. It was done right.
