Really pleased that this investment of £350k extra #funding is going to support key work delivered by organisations that help those affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence in #Lancashire.

Earlier this month I was pleased to help out at Laugh, Live, Love in #Fylde - they used to meet for a luncheon club before the pandemic and engage isolated and potentially vulnerable people within the community but now provide meals to peoples front doors.
It was great to meet the team and hear about the work they'll be doing in the area - The launch of these rural taskforces highlights @LancsPCC commitment to investing back into policing in #Lancashire and builds on the taskforces created in 2019.
Fantastic to see success of the #COVID19 vaccine volunteer programme here in Lancashire. Key part being played by @LancashireVP and @Our_Lancashire in the recruitment and engagement of volunteers with over 20,000 hours of support already given.

The next in our #HumanImpactStories comes from Zara who is 16 and is part of our Lancashire Youth Commission with @LancsPCC and @LancsDPCC
Zara is such an asset to our work and her community.
On Saturday I joined @paths2progress1 out on their Homeless & Community Outreach across #Blackpool. Inspirational to see work they do engaging partner orgs across the Fylde Coast.
Great example of communities coming together to support people & what @Our_Lancashire is all about.
I also joined Blackpool & The Fylde Street Angels on their weekly outreach in the town centre.
The support & advice they offer to the most vulnerable is having a huge positive impact, especially during the pandemic & reducing the need for frontline service interventions. 2/2
Last night I joined @BF_StreetAngels after £45k has been invested from our office in street pastors & angels across #Lancashire.
I saw first hand the work they do in running the Emergency Bed Unit for the homeless in #Blackpool above @BpoolCouncil Housing Options. 1/2
