@itsamyturnbull Hi Amy, we hope you are well. Unfortunately this is a twitter account run by students, and therefore we do not know the ins and outs of how each individual situation is considered. We advise that you get in touch with the admissions team who will be able to help you. Best wishes
We are sure most of you have heard that many students have missed out on their offers to study medicine due to the downgrading of A-Level grades. Those most impacted are students from a WP background, specifically non-selective state schools.
We encourage as many students, Alumni and members of staff to sign the letter. We must continue to support WP students and ensure that they are disadvantaged by the current A-Levels situation.
The deadline for filling out the form is TOMORROW at 12PM, this is to ensure we can get the letter to the admissions team ASAP as the situation is evolving very quickly.

The concept of altering entry requirements grades to allow widening participation in subjects like medicine used to get laughed down. I hope the A level results scandal has exposed why this was important all along. The whole system is built on classism!
We have written an open letter regarding A level results day. We endorse the @nusuk petition, echo calls for a free and fair appeals process and ask UK medical schools to provide urgent reassurance to young people regarding the Autumn and Summer resit exam options
Please RT: If you are an A level student and just received your results please fill in our survey - MAKE YOUR VIEWS HEARD! We are exploring the impact of covid-19 on your experiences. It will take approx 15 mins and will be confidential and anonymous.

As @StGeorgesUni appears to be one of the first medical schools to announce online interviews for 2021 entry applicants, it is vital that this change does not disadvantage applicants from #wideningparticipation backgrounds
