This week, instructors from DefCol and CFmnLog were in Morocco at the Royal School of Materiel to deliver an Operational Logistics course module, further proof that our expertise reaches beyond our borders !
This week, officers of the 51 CSOC explored a wide range of wargaming formats, from tactical to logistical, company to corps level and from professional to playful. The goal ? Bring continued education theory to life through hands-on serious games.
For 6 months now, the DefCol has fielded 3 teams in the MCU’s prestigious wargaming competition. With one final month of intense combat remaining in Operation Barbarossa, the challenge is reaching its peak.
Our teams are ready to defend our top position.

Day 1 of the Land Module of the Candidate Senior Officer Course 📚
Over the next 14 weeks, candidates will build a solid foundation in brigade-level combined arms operations, in both offensive and defensive missions, across four operational settings put into practice 📈
Monday we hosted a group of @UAntwerpen students with an interest in our wargaming practice. And of course such a visit had to include some practice for them as well. Thank you for your visit and for the interesting exchanges!
5 of our Advanced Staff Course students, accompanied by 1 instructor, are participating in a Corps level planning exercise at the German Führungsakademie. This is a long-standing cooperation between our two institutions, generating a clear win-win. Oh yes, and they are doing 👍

Just like last year, we are participating in the WARPLAN wargame tournament organised by the US Marine Corps University (MCU). This tournament consists of three major WWII operations and will last until April 2026. #Wargaming#PME#WARPLAN
