If you truly want to make a difference, you need to say, "No data centers, UNLESS..."

Turn it into a negotiation instead of a war, so we can fight over what really matters. No data centers UNLESS they're not draining our energy.

In fact, you could say, "you want 10 gigawatts of power? Ok, YOU pay for it. And because we’re allowing you to do it, you have to produce 15 gigawatts of power and give the excess to the grid."

It's a win-win and YOU control the terms.

I believe we need to build data centers in America as a matter of national security. BUT they MUST give back to their communities, not take from them, including when it comes to jobs. @kevinolearytv addresses this:

“Let me give you the numbers. 4,000 construction jobs just for the first phase. 2,000 permanent jobs to maintain it, and those are engineering and support jobs, very high-paying... That's a lot of jobs, including all of the additional stuff we have to do for the community, which no one's been talking about. New fire trucks, we got to provide hotels to put these construction workers in for two years. We got to have permanent support for schooling. There's so much stuff we're going to give back to the community... We have to find these people to employ them. Thank goodness, Utah has a highly educated workforce."

People who are saying they won’t allow data centers to be built obviously want China to win the AI race.

I agree we should protect land and not destroy our natural reserves to build data centers, which is why my proposal is for the data centers to replace mosques.

There are thousands of Jihadi mosques in America preaching death to Americans and recruiting impressionable young men to carry out Jihad.

How about we have @SecMullinDHS @ICEgov conduct some raids on the mosques, arrest their terrorist leaders for plotting jihad and take over the mosques and make the mosques data centers?

.@DataRepublican found public records revealing that an upcoming 'conservative grassroots' protest against data centers has some very interesting connections: the group organizing it, Humans First, was initially funded by groups with major Silicon Valley connections, including Facebook and OpenAI. And its early staff included climate radicals, Democratic Socialists, and Democratic organizers.

That doesn't mean that every person involved in this group is part of some conspiracy. And it also doesn't mean that everyone who's concerned about data centers is a useful idiot. Two things can be true at the same time. If you don't want data centers because they're being fast-tracked in the middle of the night and taking over our rural areas, I'm 100% on your side. But at the same time, we must realize that not every one of these movements is "grassroots."
