There are around 300 active eagle nesting sites in the US, and shockingly one of them happens to be located less than two miles east of campus! The eagle will be monitored and we will continue to share photos and updates.

This year, Landis Lou decided to take the new Landis at Home vehicle to pick up a new Eagles jersey! He was so focused on his driving (it’s difficult trying to reach the pedals when you’re a foot tall), he did NOT see his shadow! Hooray for an early spring! #LandisLou
The Friends of the Woods and Wetlands has been documenting the different species of birds that call our campus home. Since documentation began, the group has sighted over 100 different species, including a bald eagle and this goldfinch.

Did you know? After a snowstorm in 2010, resident Louella Weiland asked a team member to open her blinds so she can see the snow. Louella mentioned she wished she could feel the snow again. The team member bundled her up and they went outside, caught snowflakes, and took photos.
