Tried "vibe coding" a game from scratch. In case anyone was wondering... GPT-5 IS NOT replacing software engineers anytime soon. It was really bad at basic logic, extendibility, and interfacing with other systems. Still an incredible tool for asking questions about API's.
It never ceases to amaze me how many bugs you find when you let other people play your game. I've done >5 supervised playtests, and each one found something broken.
@RoarluneC I'm using it for my detective game. Specifically for scenarios where you must interrogate, seduce, or convince an NPC to do something. These narrow scope and goal oriented tasks keep the LLM from going off the rails.
