@BrickCenter_ I think they were actually talking about the 20 point streak Shai is on.
Shai had ~17pts atm, and knew he needed a few more to extend it.
KD asked how many games his 20 pt.streak was to which Shais reply being “I think like 76”.
KD’s streak was actually 72
@Lauren_TXUSA@zylerbuchanan 😪 I hate that this was his final performance, but he’ll go down as a Tech legend.
I think it’s important to keep perspective even through an excruciating loss (and day on every side that wasn’t defense).
#WreckEm
@Lauren_TXUSA@zylerbuchanan You’re right Lauren, he’s only the 1st QB to outright win the Big12, played on a fractured tibia ALL season, was nothing but a leader and a proper representative of West Texas grit & virtue, 4th all time in passing yards w/ 3 OC’s; but he’s not an all-timer…
Behren has not had his best stuff today and he’s been a big reason you can’t score at all.
However, I do hate this will be his last performance as a Red Raider. He’s an all-timer and I hope we can appreciate him despite this result
FINAL: Texas Tech 29, BYU 7
Texas Tech doesn't even *try* to open it up on offense, leans on their insane defense and dominates a Top 10 opponent
Spare me NIL talk (they spend no different than the top of SEC/Big Ten) - that defense is ELITE
Put some RESPECT on this program
@broadwayshuff
Thanks for the shoutout on the segment, that was pretty special.
Clayton’s Tommy this week was the funniest and potentially best of the season!
Keep up the great content, appreciate it boys ✊
@broadwayshuff I don’t envy refs, the game moves fast. But review exists to bring objectivity, and too often it doesn’t feel that way.
Calls seem to shift based on momentum, previous grievance, sideline pressure, etc. — not the rulebook…
@broadwayshuff 2. 2Q 5:55: Jayce Brown catches the ball, tucks as he turns upfield when JRod “JRod’s” the ball loose.
Ruling on the field: Forced Fumble.
Under review: Brown bobbles the tuck as he turns upfield.
After review: call stands as forced fumble - Wreck ‘Em
Different precedence to 1.
@broadwayshuff 1. 2Q 13:40: Jayce Brown catches the ball, tucks as he turns to start upfield when Amir Boyd “JRods” the ball loose.
Ruling: forced fumble.
Under Review: appears to have possession and make a move upfield.
After review: Overturned, ruled not a completed catch - K-State ball…
